Wayne Vaden
Chief Executive Officer
Wayne Vaden is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of City Park Food. Wayne is focused on the overall operations, financial growth, business development and sustainability of the company. It is his mission to identify new captive-market opportunities for minority participation, establish business operations and create sustainable economic growth and opportunities for local communities.
As an attorney, Wayne also advises on legal issues including, but not limited to, regulatory compliance, small and minority business development, employment issues and real estate. He utilizes his legal experience and expertise to solidify and grow relationships with local politicians, prime concession management companies and affiliated community stakeholders.
Wayne is the founder and managing attorney of City Park Law Group, focusing on general litigation and commercial transactions. Wayne was part of Mayor Hickenlooper's administration, serving as the Clerk and Recorder / Public Trustee for the City and County of Denver.
Wayne previously worked for the regional and national law firms, Holme Roberts & Owen and Baker & Hostetler. He received his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver.
Wayne worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado and as a Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City and County of Denver. He has served on the board of directors for several local community organizations.
Mike Perez
Chief Operating Officer
In addition to managing operations and City Park Food, Mike works at MegaStar Financial.
Prior to joining MegaStar, Mike worked at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Denver where his responsibilities included membership, sales and marketing, strategic planning, annual budgeting, business education programs, strategic relationships and economic development for small business members.
Mike is a Denver native and a graduate of South High School; he then attended Taft JC and San Jose State University. He graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Sociology and was inducted into the San Jose State Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. He was drafted by the New York Giants in 1988, played for the Houston Oilers and Kansas City Chiefs.
He has served on numerous local boards and received numerous awards for his service to the community. He is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
